Error in Modules doc, suggestions for nice fix?

PaulD just got in touch after spotting some, shall we say, unusual
code in the RSS Modules spec doc [1] (Google took him to my related
notes [2]).

Is anyone actually using dc:subject + DMOZ categories in this way?
It's be nice to see a working version that's in use rather than making
one up.

The example is a beaut :

...
<dc:subject>
  <taxo:topic rdf:about="http://dmoz.org/Arts/Crafts/Wood_Craft/Woodworking/">
    <rdf:value="Woodworking" />
  </taxo:topic>
</dc:subject>
...
