Date problem, yahoo problem

Is there something obviously wrong with this?
The date from mysql is as "20050105175221"
" FROM_UNIXTIME(date_created) AS Date, "
RSS the year is 2007, in yahoo year is 1 minute ago.
I have 2005 years in RSS showing as *1989 and Yahoo 1 year ago.
Another problem I have is running code through the my yahoo link maker, the RSS works
fine but when its turned into a link it no longer works, producing an error by cutting off
the url before the end. (I had this problem before, notified yahoo, then it worked, updated
the forum id's from where its coming and it does it again)
