I believe the case outlined is where the Content-type is parsed by
the browser, then the browser launches the application using the
Content-type to determine which application. The appication starts
getting the data, but does not receive the original Uri used to
retreive the data. That is the assertion, anyway. I'm not absolutely
sure it's true (and I have no reason not to believe it), but I don't
have experience here, YET!
Putting the original Uri in the RSS Feed itself will allow
aggregators that receive just the data to determine the Uri of the
RSS Feed itself (and add the feed to its list of feeds).
That's my understanding.
