Trying to put RSS on a site

Hey,

I'm trying to get an RSS feed on my website and need a bit of 
guidance... what's a good program to use?

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, I did look in 
the files section first and didn't see anything that looked obvious 
(a FAQ there on this would be a good idea hint hint!)
