Hiya, Nice module. I have implemented RSS feeds of mailing lists (using a Perl script to parse archive pages - see http://www.downes.ca/cgi-bin/xml/deos.cgi and http://www.downes.ca/cgi-bin/xml/itforum.cgi ) and can see how this would be useful. For the elements corresponding to doaml:description, doaml:description-page and doaml:name I used the RSS description, link and name fields respectively - the DOAML proposal therefore seems to introduce some redundancy. This presumes that the RSS feed is a list of mailing list posts, as I have done. As for the approval process for RSS 1.0 modules - I have over time observed a number of module proposals be submitted to this list and ignored. There is not to my knowledge an approval process. This is something I would like to see those in charge take up and address. Minimally, there should be some process. If there is a process, and I simply don't know what it is, then it should be posted here and also on the RSS 1.0 web pages. -- Stephen > From: Vincent <balbinus-xcJciv/[email protected]> >Subject: DOAML and RSS > > >Hi everyone, > >I created the DOAML ontology (http://www.doaml.net/) a little while ago, >and links between it and RSS immediately seemed obvious to me. > >Since RSS allows extension by modules, here is my (modest) module >proposal: DOAML RSS module >(http://www.doaml.net/specifications/rss-module).
