Yes, correct on the 410 response. I wasn't intending to be "technically
correct" about it. Good idea on a 410 with content.
Basically just something that'd provide a rotating or subtly changing set of
items such that an RSS reader would be able to bring the items to the
attention of the user. Just revolving timestamps isn't "enough" to cover
all the cases. I could write one of these myself but figured it'd be worth
asking first...
