I think  rdf heads would prefer the following notation:

<state:prev rdf:resource="http://www.mnot.net/blog/2005/05/index.rdf"/>

Also you could avoid the <state:stateful/> property by using  
<state:prev rdf:resource="rdf:nil"/>
