A postcript.

EBay to RSS. http://www.freebiddingtools.com seems to be the best 
solution. But shouldn't eBay provide RSS for search and listings from 
this person themselves?

Amazon. I ended up having to write my own API to RSS convertor for a 
person's wishlist and listmania lists. In theory this should be almost a 
single step using an XSLT parameter to the API. But that's beyond me at 
the moment. As for eBay, Amazon should do RSS output for wishlist and 
listmania lists themselves. It's not exactly obvious how to get the List 
ID. And the separation of Amazon by country is annoying if you're trying 
to write some generic web app like this.

Craigslist. there's no display that I can see and no RSS for "All the 
postings from one person". That feels like a wishlist item.

YASNs. It still annoys me that the YASNs are generally so bad about 
providing RSS output for clubs/groups/tribes and content from one 
person. It's a shame they almost all see themselves as in a deliberate 
walled garden. That's just *so* 1999.
