(From what I remember....)

XML is the exception.

For XML, you are suppose to register MIME types of the form
"application/????+xml".

Other MIME types of that same form are discouraged (and are extremely
unlikely to get registered).

I learned about it from others.

I'll have to dig up those e-mails again.

Lucas and I were having a lengthy convo about playlists for video and
audio that's made up of multiple files... but I think he got busy
(with work), and then never got around to picking up the convo again.
