A proposal about feedback means

Hi group!

I thought it can be very suitable for some RSS authors, webmasters or
other stuff to recieve any feedback not as emails but as instant
messages. I also thought that may be someone would like his users to
send feedback via some other means. So I suggest you to add 'type' and
'subtype' attributes to all elements that are currently used to hold
e-mails (managingEditor, webMaster, and author). The type attribute
will indicate a basic type of a communication means and have a default
value of 'email' and some other non-default values: id (instant
messaging system ID), fax, phone... may be more. The subtype attribute
will be optional or required depending on the value of the 'type'
attribute. For type="id" subtype is required and can have these
possible values: msn, yahoo, icq, aim etc. For type="email" subtype is
ignored and subtypes for other types can be defined in future.

I also suggest to use several elements like managingEditor to indicate
different email addresses or an email address and an ID and so on.
These addresses may belong to the same person or may not. This syntax
can be used to decrease feed size: the first such element can contain
an address and a real name in parentheses and all subsequent ones,
representing the same person - just addresses and so on. Aggregators
could display real names found in a feed together with drop down lists
containing corresponding addresses. RSS specification doesnt clarify
are multiple managingEditor and similar elements allowed or not but as
far as I know modern RSS aggregators dont allow them.

So this is all I wanted to suggest. Will be waiting for your comments.
