I am not sure... but the legal code of 3.0 seems to be more detailed than 
that of 2.0:

This entry of the CC blog documented some changes in CC Version 3.0:

Anyway, the use of the latest license is always recommended:

"A new version of this license is available. You should use it for new 
works, and you may want to relicense existing works under it. No works are 
automatically put under the new license, however."
