Mr. Gallagher,

It is obvious, of course, that you are correct. Mr. Ruby has absolutely
no right to write his own software in a way of his choosing and should
instead write his software in a way that is more pleasing to you. It is
especially insulting that Mr. Ruby has somehow compelled you -- most
likely through threat and force -- to use his crappy lying software!
Please, continue to insult and attack him until he complies with your
ever so reasonable wishes and demands. How dare that lying bastard even
dare to suggest that you are being unreasonable! It is simply
inconceivable!

Your suggestion to include xml comments disparaging Mr. Ruby is an
excellent idea! So many normal every day users will see those comments
and will know exactly what kind of horrible, terrible person Mr. Ruby
is! I suggest that we all do that! Let's also include comments crying
out for an end to the war in Iraq also! Perhaps if more people would
follow your excellent, well thought out suggestions, the world would be
a much better and safer place!

I applaud you, Mr. Gallagher, for having the courage to type your
righteous email in all uppercase! If only I could be so bold and brave!
That Damned Mr. Ruby has to be put in his place! And his damned
software must be stopped! How dare he force us all to use his
validator! How dare he offer advice on how to improve our feeds! How
dare he follow the suggestions of the RSS Boards! How dare he have an
opinion! How dare he engage the community in discussion and open source
his code so that anyone can participate in the discussion and
development of the validator! It is simple unconscionable!

We stand by you good Mr. Gallagher! That said, however, those of us on
this particular mailing list are likely too idiotic, stupid and small
minded to appreciate the true and lasting value of your comments. There
are other forums where such kind, constructive, thoughtful, and
considerate discussion will likely be received with it's due respect.
Here, I am afraid you will only be greeted with sarcasm and disdain!

- James
