Re: RSS : a "namespace" in itself ?

Both Visual Studio and SlickEdit will verify XML grammar against the 
XSD located at the URI, and both warn if that URI does not lead to a 
schema that can be opened.

As for an example of a URI that leads to an XSD, look no further than 
the recommended URI for the SOAP envelope: http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope
