Re: Which Namespace IF

The http://backend.userland.com/rss namespace is a URI not owned by 
anyone associated with the RSS advisory board and this may lead to an 
ownership stink in the future. Further, that URL redirects to a 
webpage of a very old copy of the RSS specification which will not 
include the latest clarifications to the specification, including any 
namespace clarifications we make based on this discussion.

James has provided some data that supports the use of the 
http://backend.userland.com/rss namespace as it is already supported 
by some RSS clients.

Historically, this discussion is based on Dave Winer's initiate 
proposal of a PSS namespace.
