Re: Which Namespace IF

For those who are concerned about http://backend.userland.com/rss2 not
being under the control of the board, I think it's entirely possible
at some point that the domain would pass from the current UserLand --
with whom we have a good working relationship -- to another entity.

Back in 2006, we lost control of our web site at Harvard's Berkman
Center and had to start over from scratch at http://www.rssboard.org.
It took around two years for us to build up our search engine rank to
a point where it was comparable to the old site.

If we go with "http://backend.userland.com/rss2" as the namespace URI,
we must accept the risk that at some point a document will be
published there that contradicts what we are trying to accomplish with
this proposal.
