Greetings-

I am trying to connect to an Ubuntu 14.04 server from my Windows 10 machine.
I followed the instructions posted at
http://www.havetheknowhow.com/Configure-the-server/Install-VNC.html when I
started vncserver for the first time, I got the following error message:
"xauth: file /root/.Xauthority does not exist"

I proceeded with the instructions as I did not know if it is going cause an
issue. I was not able to connect, and checked the logs of the firewall on my
host which is a McAfee product, and did not see the IP address of the Ubuntu
server being blocked.

Here is what is in the ./vnc/ logs file:

*       Sat Apr  9 22:01:03 2016

I think I read somewhere that I need to configure a user account for VNC? Is
that true? I mean on the Ubuntu machine. Is my issue related to the fact
that I just have root account right now?
