Helper for application mode...

In my organization (within, eg in WAN, non in public internet) i need a
little helper that can run TightVNC (just installed in service mode,
and password protected, used by IT staff) in application mode.
Eg, an icon that, if double clicked, can ask some minimal info (eg, a
password) and then run TightVNC service in application mode, on a
different port.
Someone have just done that? Probably it suffices a simple script...
