Illegal reflective access operation exception in Java Viewer

Greetings,

Attempting to use TightVNC Java Viewer version 2.8.3 on macOS 10.13 in Java 9:

java version "9.0.1"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 9.0.1+11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 9.0.1+11, mixed mode)
