I've been using TightVNC viewer on Windows to Linux x11vnc server for a couple of years now. I had someone at the office download the viewer for Windows 10. This person uses the numeric keypad a lot, which I never have. When she connected to her work computer and attempted to enter number from the numeric keypad in a spreadsheet it would not work. I testing the same connection to her computer using my TightVNC on Windows 7 and had the same result. I tried TigerVNC view and did not have this problem. One Internet posting I read said that if the "real" computer running the vnc server had its numLock on, the viewer client's numLock acted in the opposite way. However, when we tested this, it didn't matter whether the viewing client's numLock was on or off. It always generated 'Home', 'Page up' etc. keys. Is there a fix for this?
