Hi all: I normally use Chocolatey to install and keep TightVNC up to date. This is what I use to install it: choco install tightvnc -y -ia "SERVER_REGISTER_AS_SERVICE=0 SET_ACCEPTRFBCONNECTIONS=1 VALUE_OF_ACCEPTRFBCONNECTIONS=0" I manually start the TightVNC in application mode whenever I need it. A few days ago Chocolatey upgraded TightVNC to version 2.8.23 . Then I noticed that the service had been enabled and the TightVNC server icon was showing up on the taskbar. I wonder how that happened. Does upgrading TightVNC automatically turn the service on? Thanks in advance, R.
