I can confirm that, using tigervnc on a ubuntu 22.04, so version 1.12.0+dfsg-4 . The strange thing is that does not happen on *all* VNC server (all are Win10 machine). with some, works as expected; with soe other, i can see the tigervnc windows open a fraction of a second, and the it close.
