New Release: TightVNC for Windows 2.8.79

Hello everyone,

Today we've prepared TightVNC version 2.8.79, a new release which
includes an important bug fix. In this version, we have addressed an
issue with file transfers that previously prevented them from working
correctly on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 when using TightVNC
versions from 2.8.75 to 2.8.78.

If you are a Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7 user experiencing
issues with file transfers, we recommend upgrading to TightVNC 2.8.79 to
ensure seamless remote access. You can download the latest version from
