that is no valid regexp (but a wildmalt), ig you chnaged your filter type
from wildmat to regexp (tinrcva wildmal) you have to translate your filter
file to the new format (the porgramm w2r.pl in tools may do this for you -
bd carefull the programm assumes that you have a wildmat only filter file,
if you have added regexp filters rules to a wildmalt filter file you will
end up with garbage).

no it just gives the error message (= waitz for two seconds) for _each_
(depending on filter type, all inc. read, or just unread) subject in that
group -> that may take a while.

as said above it's a problem with your filter entry - if the entry is
limited to a special group other groups are of course not affected.
