Newbie on MIME posts

I am sorry if this is asked over and over, I could not find an
answer where I searched.
I am actually making a comeback to tin after years of absence. I'm
happy to see it has not changed much in it's basic features.
Some of the "new" nntp servers I connect to seem to feed some kind
of MIME type posts which I am sure look great on OE or Netscape but
on my tin setup, they generate tons of prompts:
View '/home/charlesg/News/unknown-000.plain' (text/plain)? (Y/n) Y
If I say Yes I get:
No viewer found for text/plain
SO I go No... I get:
Save '/home/charlesg/News/unknown-000.plain' (text/plain)? (y/N) N
And it starts again for unknown-001.html and so on...
Is there a quick way to pre-answer 'No' to all these questions to
make newsreading a more pleasurable experience. What do I have
mis-configured on my reader.
Thanks.
