.newsauth with SSL

 

Hi,

 

My news server requires me to use SSL connection.

 

I would like to run a cron job to post an article (a postponed article
in fact)

to my news server using "tin -o". 

 

I've tried using .newsauth but the news server still prompts me for the
password

and userid.

 

.newsauth doesn't work with SSL? Is there a workaround to posting

an article to my news server at a stipulated time?

 

 

Thanks in advance! I need a reply as soon as possible (within 30min) and
any suggestion

would be very much appreciated. Any reply after 30min would still be

Btw, it seems that I cannot post to news.tin.org using tin or Outlook
