Automatic polling by tin

Hi,

Is it possible to automatically poll nntp server for new news using 
tin? I heared about something like "it is not possible, because it 
wastes bandwidth, imagine hundred people turning this option on and 
going for a lunch", but I run tin on my news server and it would be 
nice to have tin automatically check for new news every 30 seconds 
or so (configurable), without forcing me to press Y every time. It 
shouldn't be enabled by default, but would be nice to have such 
feature.
