but the suff above the blankline is fixed, text below a blankline in
the body is not, it will move when you scroll up/down.

I'm not a terminal expert, but real (hardware) VT100/VT102 do not
have colour so the Vt100 emulation should not have colour too.

well then just use tin 1.4.7, but don't expect any support/bugfixes
for that. I don't think that anyone will resurrect the 1.4.x-tree.
