there is no option for this (you could press '^h' for each art, or use
news_headers_to_display=Subject, but that's page-level only).

I'd use multipart threading (via attributes):

scope=*binari*,de.alt.dateien.*
savefile=/tmp/part
mime_types_to_save=*/*,!text/*
thread_arts=5
thread_perc=85
delete_tmp_files=ON
sort_art_type=0
show_author=0
post_proc_type=2
mime_forward=ON
followup_to=poster

and pass the grouped arts (no matter if all parts are available or not, but
you can check that as well, see below) to uudeview (IIRC the debian version
is linked against libuu) which will automatically combine multipart arts und
check for errors and missing parts.

with the above attributes I'd use '*' (mark thread hot, if not automatically
done via a filter) and 'S' (save marked arts) in that gorup (or a filter and
'X' 'S').

no need to manually look for missing parts, just use 'T', tin then will
check if a part is missing and report that for you.

or simply use a binary grabber.
