GigaNews Problem

TIN Fans,

Thanks to my wonderful ISP(cough ... RoadRunner ... cough) I've recently 
given GigaNews a try.  Fairly regularly tin displays "Can't retrieve 
active file", or something very similar, and exits.  Sometimes it happens 
when I'm trying to start tin, sometimes it happens when backing out of the 
article list display going back to the group list.  GigaNews allows me to 
have ten simultaneous connections.  The first time I saw the error in tin 
I also have hellanzb running and thought it might be being caused by a 
conflict between the two.  But, I'm also getting the error when tin is the 
only NNTP client running and only using one connection.  Is there perhaps 
a setting I need to tweak?
