Reading the man page, I guess you can substitute the path of your favorite
editor for the "%E" variable in .tin/attributes, that equals the "M" command
from the tin window.

I don't know what the "%N" variable is for. It will probably occur to me
after I post this 3rd response. Mabye a line offset?
