problems with tin under tmux?

Hi,

does anybody else have problems with running tin within tmux[1], the
screen successor?

Mine is this:  the background colour is used only where tin writes text.
Tin doesn't let me use the default terminal colours for foreground and
background, so I set them to something suitable.  Tin (ie. curses)
painted the entire screen with the various configured colours under
screen, but not under tmux.

The tmux author cannot find anything unusual and he cannot even
reproduce the problem.  I have tried ratpoison+urxvt+tmux, ratpoison+
xterm+tmux, sawfish+urxvt+tmux and sawfish+xterm+tmux and cannot get
this somewhat annoying, but not fatal problem go away!
