Hello all,

I am setting up tin to access fido7 through NNTP,
and I have two questions:

  a. When posting to fido7, it is required to use
the X-Comment-To field, which I have enabled
in the attribute file, but tin doesn't fill it
according to the fido7 convention, which is to
set it to the name (no address) of the person
one is replying to, and use the constant "All"
when starting a thread. Can this be custom-
      ized?

  b. In fido7 encoding is not specified in any
fields, but KOI8-R is always assumed. I have
      set MM_NETWORK_CHARSET and undeclared_charset
to this value, and it seems to work except
that sometimes tin doesn't display Russian
subjects correcly in newsgroup- and thread-
level, while in message-level the thread's ti-
      tle is always correct...

      My other settings are:

MIME encoding in news messages: 8bit
Use 8bit characters in news headers: ON
