your tin binarie was built with cancel-lock enabled (there currently is
no config option to turn it off later on) AND debugging support (when build
with debugging several additional warning/error messages are shown like this
one).

yes, an empty .cancelsecret file should work (no error mesage shown AND no
Cancel-Lock created) -> "touch ~/.cancelsecret"
