If you know the moderaton address of the group(s) you can bypass the
newsserver -> moderator step with someting like (again via attributes):

scope=gmane.org.clubs.dba.*
mailing_list=<[email protected]>

this may help if the "gateway" is buggy, but is not recommended as
submission adresses tend to be "unstable" and users would have to
update thier config locally ...
