From tin(1):

|        Filename to be used for  storing  posted  articles  (posted_arti-
|        cles_file)
|            Keep       posted       articles        in        ${TIN_HOME-
|            DIR:-"$HOME"}/Mail/posted_articles_file.   If  no filename is
|            set then postings will not be saved.  Default is 'posted'.
