"so difficult"??? I *did* look at the warnings, as you can see from the fact that I pasted them into my message. I could have pasted *all* of the output, you know. I did select only the part that appeared relevant. It should be obvious that I did not understand well enough what I was looking at, *let alone how to fix it*, else I would not have asked. Not everyone has years of expertise at running builds. I am quite sure that I said I'm a newbie. What you apparently consider to be so obvious, might as well be Swahili to me. I have no idea what a screen library is. I have never heard of ncurses. I have not the slightest clue what kind of reference to '_tgetent' it might possibly be expecting. I can look these things up now that I feel like an idiot, but I had hoped for a useful response here first. I would like to point out that instead of belittling me for my lack of knowledge, you could have chosen: a) to reply in a helpful and considerate manner, or b) not to reply at all. Either of these would have been preferable. -- Jeff -- [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------- It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. -- Krishnamurti ---------------------------------------------------------------
