Thanx for teh suggestions on how to see if the ports are availalble.

It seems the port is up and running..

here is the result if netstat:

udp        0      0 0.0.0.0:67              0.0.0.0:*

I get no traffic reported via tcpdump or using etherreal from my windows
xp client....i'll look in to the windows side more now.
