again...

Further into my investigation, I have found that if I compile Tux as a module instead of compiling into the kernel, the problem is solved and Tux works as it should.

Not sure, but there must be a problem.

Subject: Tux and PHP

Hi guys,

I am currently experiencing some strange attitude from Tux.

I am running RH 7.2 with a 2.4.18 kernel patched with tux2-full-2.4.18-final-A3
and userspace tools tux-2.2.5.tar.gz

I have changed the following:
TUX/redirect redir php php3

entry in the tux.mime.types file to tell TUX to pass requests for PHP files to my Apache server.

For some strange reason, certain PHP files are being handled directly by TUX when in fact TUX should be forwading the requests to Apache. Other PHP files work fine.

Why would TUX try and handle a PHP file when I have told it to redirect all files with a PHP extension?

I do not understand.

Thanks for any light on this issue, Serge
