segfaults when not supplying -r option

I am running tux on a Debian system, clean 2.4.18 kernel (just to be
on the safe side) with the tux2-full-2.4.18-final-A3 patch.

Because the tux.init script didn't work (I guess, very redhat
specific), I tried to just start tux. It segfaulted all the time, and
after some time I figured out why.

If I don't supply the -r docroot option it will segfault, even though
I have specified a (valid) location in /proc/sys/net/tux/documentroot

I am not sure if tux segfaults for others, but the redhat people who
run the tux.init script will never encounter the problem, because the
it always supply -r option on start.

I tried it on two different computers, both Debian. On an AMD K6-2
500MHz, and a Pentium 166MHz.
