The latest kernel released (kernel-2.4.18-17.7.x.rpm) include one of the latest versions of the tux patch, which has all the features i have contributed (ifmodified, expires), but it doesn't include the latest patch against 99% cpu bug (i believe it includes the 18-A1 patch, and we are now at 18-A3)! well, i will just keep on using my own kernel. i will try to setup and environment where you can compile the tux module without recompiling the kernel - a very good example at the linuxvirtualserver.org site - they provide a kernel patch, but they also provide a tarball that builds the nessesary modules against the present kernel - very useful and works great.
