Hello!

My server just crashed again (1 1/2 hours ago, after 9 days of operation).
After the reboot I disabled logging and hope to have a stable setup now. The
logging data is important but a running server is much more important. I'm
also thinking of switching to THTTPd. I like TUX and the way it works (if it
works stable), but I can't risk another crash. If someone finds and fixes the
bug I will give TUX another try but not now.

You are right, most people have dual-systems! But it would be interessting to
know if TUX runs stable on a single CPU system with logging turned on. As a
said earlier I don't know much about kernel programming. But if you're right
with your theory that the logging is a problem with concurrent disc access it
would be interessting/helpful to know if the problem just occures with
multi-CPU systems. That's all I wanted to say.
