I compiled it, installed it, and it didn't work. Here is more detail:

make install copied to: 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/Tux/tux_perl.tux.so
(others...)

1. I copied the tux_perl.tux.so to /var/www/tuxmodules
2. I added the module to /etc/sysconfig/tux
3. tux restart [failed]

Your module has to go in /var/www/tuxmodules along with the rest of my 
modules. Is that the problem? Are you assuming your tux module will be in the 
same directory as the tux_perl_imp.so and others?

There can only be one directory for tux modules...
