Yes i did. This reproduces consistently on a heavily loaded machine :

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/tux/logging

start copying 500mb file from one directory to another on the disk.
after a few passes - the system is dead (the usual, responding to pings, no
http or ssh). 

(my machine actually has in clon a job to "rm -f /var/log/tux" every 5
minutes, i don't know if this has to do with it, but i am not going to check
again on my production machine - my isp people are already tired of me
asking to reboot the server for the n'th time).

read on the list that you were (about a month ago) going to leave referer
logging off for "a couple more days, then switch it on and wait for the
crash". Was curious as to whether that crash actually happened or not. =)
