tux and NFS?

has anyone been successful running tux to serve static content from an
NFS mounted volume? has it worked well, or are there problems? has the
performance been acceptable? i am debating the pros and cons of using
NFS in a clustered web environment with tux and apache. if anyone has
had any bad experiences using tux with NFS, please let me know.
