Hi Ingo: I did see significant performance improvement of 2.6.9-rc3. But, -A6 still got lower throughput than the user space server (Flash). Here's the numbers: In-memory workload, 1024 concurrent connections, on 1 processor Xeon 3.06GHz: Tux: 1746 Mb/s (was 1323 Mb/s on 2.6.8.1, 32% improvement) Flash: 2134 Mb/s (was 1630 Mb/s on 2.6.8.1, 31% improvement) This morning when I came in, I measured throughput on 2 processors: Tux: 2408 Mb/s (was 1803 Mb/s on 2.6.8.1, 34% improvement) Flash: 3137 Mb/s (was 2331 Mb/s on 2.6.8.1, 35% improvement) Wondering if RH Enterprise release would do any better? -Yaoping Ingo Molnar wrote: > * Yaoping Ruan <[email protected]> wrote: > > > It works just great.
