ubhd - multi-threaded daemon for ubh

I've uploaded a file to the ubh yahoogroup in the folder ubhd.  Here's

DESCRIPTION
This is a alpha code for a shell script to kick off multiple ubh
processes, specifying the newsgroup to harvest for each process.  

Example usage:
ubhd alt.binaries.movies alt.binaries.vcd alt.binaries.movies.divx

The above command will initiate 3 ubh processes, monitoring and
restarting each one as necessary.

TO INSTALL:

Download and put the tar.gz file in your ubh directory.
(this directory is called "stable3" in my cvs download.)
issue the command tar xfzv ubhd-0.1.A.tar.gz
cd ubhd
chmod 754 ubhd 
./ubhd <newsgroup1, newsgroup2, newsgroup3>


HINT:  in my experience, usenet services will allow from 3 to 8
connections.

WARNING:
This is alpha code, tested on my RHAT9 implementation.

Planning more work, including memory management, cpu utilization
management, and file system monitoring.
