Informed new user with question.

Hello out there.  I have been using UBH for quite a while, and have 
been looking to make some changes, but thought I would see if anyone 
else was working on the same type of changes. 
 
Long story short I read the about page and found:

Uses a MySQL database to specify which servers to connect to, which 
newsgroups to process, and to keep track of articles already 
processed.  
***** 
 
I am using UBH 2.5 and can not find anywhere in the code where a 
database is accessed.  Am I missing something?
