This maybe a stupid question, but have you checked that ubh isn't still
running? That would be the most common reason for cron not to send an email.

Other than that, another possibility might be that cron is crashing because
the server is running out of memory. Seems to me that ubh would crash first
though.

Or now that I think of it, you might be running out of disk space.
Particularly if ubh has started producing lots and lots of error messages, the
disk could fill up, preventing cron from sending the email. But I'd expect to
see a lot of complaints in the syslog files if that was the case.
