One more thing, if you are running under such circumstances, you
will want to think about using the '-X' option on the ubhdb program,
which performs some additional article existence checking for you.
I haven't used this personally, but I understand it is helpful with
low-retention servers which expire article much faster than they
update the article numbers they report as available via the NNTP
group command.
