question regarding patches

Hi,

Is this still the case?  I ask because I've been modifying it quite
heavily in to being more table driven.  I've also started work on
separating it from mysql only to also include Postgres and Sybase ASE
backends (eventually to Oracle as well but it is a low priority).

If so, no biggie, it is Gerard's perogative and I thank him greatly
for his work as it really is the only one of it's kind.
